CALLS” to the sounds of Paradise, 21st Century style. |

* Keali`i Reichel perpetuates
the culture and language of Hawai'i with his music and hula. He was
one of the founding directors for Punana Leo O Maui (a Hawaiian Language
immersion school) and has taught Hawaiian culture and language and
Maui Community College. Keali'i was also the Cultural Resource Specialist
and Curator at the Bailey House Museum in Wailuku. |

* Palani Vaughan shares his knowledge
of Hawaiian History and the Hawaiian Monarchy through song and dance
with 1995 Miss Aloha Hula and daughter, Allison-Ka'ilihiwa. Palani
is able to tie together the days of old and modern Hawai'i with his
presentations on Hawai'i's Cosmopolitan Society and the Seeds
of Internationalism in Hawai'i. |

* Eddie Sherman worked in the Pearl Harbor
Navy Shipyard during the 40s after having moved to Hawaii from Boston.
He later became a popular 3-Dot columnist on Honolulu's morning newspaper,
The ADVERTISER, and later on MIDWEEK Magazine. For over 40 years he
covered the rich and famous, and the celebrities who visited Waikiki,
and now talks about them and his new best-seller: Frank, Sammy, Marlon
and Me. He'd be a great light-hearted addition to your Hawaii meeting. |
