Stand-Up Comedian Bo Irvine has been entertaining audiences locally and nationally for the past 15 years, with performances on HBO, A & E “Comedy on the Road” & Showtime “Comedy Club Network”. Also featured as a regular on KSSK Perry & Price. Bo Irvine presents “Sharkey's Comedy Club” opening June 2004 in world renowned Waikiki . Sharkey's host's the nation's funniest stand up comedians, as well as Hawai`i's best up and coming comics.
Mr. Irvine is also the Director of Safety and Occupational Health & Fire Protection at Marine Corps Base Hawai`i and has held this position for the past 13 years. Bo is no stranger to being front and center, in his current position; he has spearheaded a National Safety program that was awarded recognition, by the Secretary of Navy and the Commandant of the Marine Corps. Prior to the Marine Base, Bo was a Fireman with the Federal Fire Department for 20 years where he attained rank of Assistant Fire Chief. Bo's areas of experience and expertise are vast from a Safety and Fire protection aspect as well as issues related to personal health and well being. Bo's diabetes program, “Seriously…Living with Diabetes Can Be Funny”, has been developed from he and his Business Manager's personal experiences of finding the humor in living with Diabetes.
